I live in Emeryville, CA. with my beautiful wife Petra and the sweet memory of our much-missed cat, Rose.

Originally from South Carolina, I have been a working, exhibiting artist for twenty years.  As a traditionally

trained fine artist (painter), I am comfortable working in a wide variety of media and genres.  I earned a Bachelor

of Fine Art degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art, attended the Studio Art Centers International school

in Florence, Italy, as well as the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts while in high school.  Prior to moving

to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1999, I was a professional Inpainter for a fine art restoration company and, between

2000 - 2010, was in business doing decorative/faux painting and murals for private & commercial clientele.  I am

currently working as the Art & Exhibitions Preparator at Creativity Explored in San Francisco while taking classes

at the Academy of Art University, with the determined goal of segueing into the animation/film VFX industry as

a Concept Artist, Texture Artist, Environment Artist, and/or Matte painter.
